About the artists

Pegah Peivandi (she/they) is an Iranian-Canadian multidisciplinary artist based in Tkaronto/Toronto. With a primary focus on illustration, animation, and ceramic stoneware, Pegah is enamoured with electrifying colors and textures that evoke a sense of surrealism, otherworldliness, and wide eyed wonder. Pegah’s work has been exhibited and highlighted at XPACE Cultural Centre (2025), The Inside Out Queer Film Festival (2024), Soho House Toronto (2024), Northern Contemporary Gallery (2024), InterAccess Gallery (2024), Toronto Arts Foundation (2024), and The Drake Hotel (2023). Pegah has worked with organizations such as the City of Toronto, Inside Out Film Festival, CBC Arts, Collective Arts Brewery and more. Pegah obtained their BA from Toronto Metropolitan University in Media Production in 2021.

Evangeline Y Brooks (she/her) is a postcyber artist based in Toronto, ON with roots in Rochester, NY. Her practice is centred on how we coexist with computers, working to maintain sustainable, accessible, and DIY artist communities against cultures of immediacy. Her practice engages with digital imagery bridging IRL, passing data back and forth over mediums and celebrating lost information.
She is currently the Programming Manager at InterAccess and co-hosts the A/V showcase ponyHAUS. Her work has been featured at Luminato Festival, TIFFxInstagram, Images Festival, and Geary Art Crawl and supported by the Canada Council of the Arts, Ontario Arts Council, and Toronto Arts Council. Most recently, she was in residence at CTM Festival with the Wilding AI collective, focusing on immersive sound and ethical AI.
